This year's Vintage Yamaha Rally was held during the weekend that Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc in the Southeast part of the country. I did attend and was hoping that the area that I was headed to would not be greatly effected. The Robbinsville, NC and Deals Gap, NC area got a good amount of rain, but was mostly spared of much damage.

I did get some riding in. Which did include getting rained on all 3 days of riding. I did not plan on ever doing much more than 100 miles in a day on the Streetfighter. Sunday ended up being 191 miles.

Due to the weather. There were many cancelations and a shortage of Vintage Yamahas arrived. As you can see, I also brought 2 of my VFR's along. I even got a shot of the truck and trailer, on the Dragon, in the rain.

Some definite non-vintage, non-Yamaha's there Fred, but nice to see at least one other FJ amongst them.

Loving the turbo'd XS11 though  :good2:
