Had a visit from a motoring journalist and his photographer earlier in the week regarding my FJ.

It seems the journalist is doing articles on "Forever Bikes" and he had heard about my bike, its history and my 35 year ownership. There will be an article published soon, but I got a preview of the photos - the first professional ones I've had specifically of my bike. I think they used a rather handsome male model to show off the bike in it's best light  :sarcastic:

Very nice Dean!  Your FJ still looks great.  I'm at the point where I'd be happy for another 5 minutes of riding on mine, although it probably needs 5 hours of work first.

Thanks guys,

I'm very pleased and a little bit proud that she was chosen for some attention/recognition  .

I didn't realise that she was so well known outside of just the FJ community !!

Thats fantastic, there are a few plus hidden upgrades in that there machine. I hope your wife is not
the jealous type for all the time you spent with that model. I have rode a few bikes more in my 56 years
which I think I might be considered one of the young guys on here, but I have not rode a better motorcycle
yet that would make me change my mind, as Monkey said, Long Live The FJ.
