My fender mounting tabs are gone. So here is my entry for a repair method.  Something different from the usual plastifix.  I guess I'm a sheetmetal guy at heart.

Here is the other side. Material is 0.016 aluminum, and the tab is 0.125".

That looks pretty durable.
I just fixed the same tabs on my fender two days ago. I was going to use plastifix but both tabs snapped off so cleanly  I decided to try gluing them. I lightly coated both haves of the break with abs glue and just held it in place for three minutes. I didn't think it would be very strong but surprisingly it feels very strong. I can bend the fender back and forth holding the tabs.  I still have to plastifix a tab on the other fender half that is missing but I have molds I made from a good fender.

I could!  Some of my buddies are trying to convince me to leave the rivets unpainted and go for the steampunk/ Judas Priest look.  I'm not sure yet. Those are clecoes of course, temporary fasteners we use in aircraft sheetmetal work.

Interesting, I hadn't seen those items before. It looks like the fender should be more durable now. :good:

Pics are the front tabs riveted on, and a tool I'm making to transfer holes. Basically drilled a hole in an M6 screw.  I'll thread that in, place the fenders, and use my right angle drill to drill through the tabs.

Here is my drill bushing tool I made screwed into the mount, and the fenders mounted up after transferring and upsizing the hole.
