Other options for 14mm clutch master cylinder

I've noticed that the FJR1300 clutch master cylinder swap seems to be popular.  I'm having a hard time finding one, though.  Does anyone know of any other bikes that have 14mm M/Cs that would work?  That way I can expand my search options.  This is keeping my bike off the road during my favorite riding weather of the year and I'd really like to get it fixed.

My clutch master is from a Kawasaki ZRX1200.  The ZRX1100 has a 14mm master as well.  Its a fairly close match for my FJR front brake master.

There should be a list over in the mods section about that.  I just posted all the bikes that have 14mm brake masters but then noticed the thread was for clutch, so I removed them from this post.  Anyone know if the Yamahas that use the 14mm brake masters have 14mm clutch masters as well?

I've just fitted a clutch m/c from an '02 Honda VFR. Unsure of the bore size but has certainly improved clutch lever effort. (2 diaphram springs fitted) Good looking unit and readily available from ebay. Paid about $55 for it and doesn't look out of place on the FJ. Rebuild kits are easily obtained and around $25.  Regards, Pete.    :i_am_so_happy:

That'd be because most FJR's don't run a clutch master cylinder...

Another Yamaha alternative is XJR 13xx which is the same clutch/brake master as FJR...

Not much help to the guys in North America, but for the guys in Oz they can be readily had.

Nitrous is nice but I'd rather be blown.

A 2005 Kawi Concours  (ZG 1000) is probably the same as the ZRX, it is a 14 mm as well. It is a pretty decent match for the FJR brake master,  the clutch reservoir is a little shorter though.http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/m630/FlyoverCountryJoe/IMG-20110910-00063.jpg

I was just at a Yamaha Demo Day Event. I rode a VMax and noticed it has 14 on the Clutch Master and has mirror mounting in the casting. Important to me since I have an 84 and can not stand Las Vegas traffic with 2 springs in the clutch. Ive been looking for both masters on eBay but not having much luck yet. New from Yamahore the pieces needed are over $600, ouch! That includes adjustable levers and mirrors but crap, $600! They look very nice and Yamahore has Billet covers in accessory book. So over $700 for everything, but wait, the fitting is positioned differently so custom SS lines are in order. Looking like a $1000 just to do these masters new. I do not like the Urine cups I saw on some bikes. Gotta keep looking for the needed items for the winter projects.

I ended up getting a used 14mm Nissin urine cup M/C from Randy that he had laying around.  I actually like the remote reservoir.  It might look a bit out of place, but the convenience of the screw-n cap is nice and appearance takes a back seat to functionality for me.  This winter I plan on doing some brake upgrades and I'll probably go to a remote brake M/C as well.
The 14mm clutch M/C works really nicely.  I have the doubled clutch springs, but the lever is nice and light now.  It makes the bike a pleasure to ride.  I was concerned that there might not be enough volume to fully release the clutch, but it works just fine.

I thought I'd open this again as I've just doubled up my spring and the lever is a tad bit heavy.
Has anyone had a look at putting a sleeve into an FJ1100 master cylinder and fitted 14mm guts into it?
If so what were the donor parts from?
We're you able to use an adjustable lever?

Too much hassle when you can buy a used FJR clutch m/c dirt cheap.

Yeah, it was just a thought.
I run vintage or Collector Plates and because I live in a socialist country (Canada) they have rules to qualify for those plates. Pretty much everything is to be stock.
Regardless EBay is rolling a FJR m/c to my door.
