Had a nice little ride on Monday morning with a few local biking friends.

3 Triumph 1200 twins, 2 BMW GS 1250's, 1 Triumph Tiger 900, 1 Africa Twin 1100, 1 Yamaha R6 and my FJ.

I chose roads with a little bit to suit everyone, mostly twisty, some bumpy  :sarcastic: ....................and a fantastic roadside bikers/truckers cafe, for a spot of brunch.

To say the FJ performed well would be a gross understatement. I've included a snapshot of a message exhange with one of the Triumph 1200 riders.

Long live the FJ

Dean, that looks ;like it would be a great ride. We'd love to cross the pond to do some riding.

You'd both always be welcome George and I'm sure we could scare up some great rides for you, seeing the best of motorcycling roads in the UK  :good2:

It would also give me a reason to get back to some of my favourite routes that aren't do-able in just a day from where I live now  :sarcastic: :good2:

There's a photographer who works around the Rutland roads and he was taking photos on Monday. Looks like I made his front cover for the day  :sarcastic:
