I've had my bike apart since last fall tracing down wiring issues. the only reason i started that is because 2 out of 4 carbs went bad. The body's are worn out where the cv slides go. I'm to the point minus carbs and a new fuse block I can put the rest back together. Its been so long I cant remember how all these plugs go and what color goes to what or if I'm missing something. Does anyone have a photo or know what wire colors go where?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Chris....see pages 194 and 195 for the color coded wiring schematic on your '85 FJ600

That would be great, but its nearly impossible to make out the color designations for the wires, I'm running in 4k on a 32" screen and even zoomed in, just blocks of black pixels.

Ok, I see what you mean...

The FJ600 Haynes workshop manual is still available.  $16, not too bad

Sorry I can't be more of a help....As far as I know, you are the only FJ600 member on this forum.

Cheers. Pat

I think JPaganel had/has one as well, but maybe it was someone else.

I remember spotting an FJ600 when I stopped at the Tail of the Snake, near the Rock Store in the Santa Monica mountains. It was a Father Son ride. The son had the FJ. We had a few posts about it, then tragedy struck and the FJ had a catastrophic case failure. Then all went dark. Maybe it got put in the back of the garage for restoration later, when its one of the last 5 on the planet.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

I had one back in 1985 and i remember it had some electrical issues .Often had to start it by doing a running start mostly after it had been washed or in rain weather. That was before i discovered that using a little wd-40 into the sparkboots and on ignition contacts etc often can helps with that problem .This is the only pic i have of it.Another time a member needed carbs for fj600 and i was sure i had one in the shed at my mothers house so i cold give it to him ,but after searching there i could not find it
now my mother is dead and the house sold so no way to find the carburetors now
