Hi there,

Living in the middle of Germany I want to say hello. I am restoring a 85 FJ 1100 right now.

My experiences so far: gpz 900r and Honda 750 Four.

The FJ is getting the most time from me since a lot is learning by doing.

Thanks for any help,
Markus

Markus,

Welcome to the campfire!  Pull up a seat.  Relax, and be among friends.

What are your concerns with the FJ1100?  We have resources for most problems.  Feel free to ask.
Cheers,
Red

P.S. Life is too short, and health is too valuable, to ride on cheap parade-duty tires.

Welcome Markus! Spend some time in our Files sections, we have saved some good stuff over there.

Let us know how to help.

Stock? No worries, get it running properly so you can ride it. Then the age and wear will tell you what needs the first mod/improvement.
