I happened on this thing on eBay.

Seems pretty cheap, and the probe looks to be about right for the header ports.

Would this be worthwhile to have around to adjust the carbs?

I know it's a Chinese no-brand product, but some of them work OK.

Anyone ever seen one of these in use?

My opinion - really not necessary.  If you set the mixture screws using the "thumb nail" method, and tweak the settings using the blip test (and how it runs) you will achieve as good or better results.  IF you could measure any performance difference by using the gas analyzer, it would be more the result of having a lighter wallet in your pocket!

I think a wideband O2 would be much more useable in the real world (especially one like the WEGO III that can datalog RPM and AFR.
