At the present time, I don't have my own garage to do routine and elective maintenance. My friend Roger has a detached garage in his backyard that has been turned into a motorcycle repair center and hangout. There are about 12 bikes or so that get regular maintenance here. Roger's favorite past time is smoking cigars while watching me work on the FJ's and VFR. I even have my own key to the garage.

The purpose for this post. On the inside of the garage door, Roger has hung dry erase boards that we make maintenance charts for all of the motorcycles. An easy way to keep track of routine and preventative maintenance and monitor tire mileage. In the blown up photo all 3 of my bikes are listed along with a Multistrada.

What an excellent way to do it. I've got a large whiteboard on the wall in the shed that has a small section for parts that need to be ordered for the bikes, but the rest of it is filled with household jobs to do  :shok:  All of my maintenance and servicing goes into an excel spreadsheet that keeps track of it all, but a whiteboard would be much easier to look at,  :good2:

Mmmmm, Ducati Multistrada, would love one.
