No back? No Boone

I injured my back a few days ago, and it does not feel like it will be good enough to ride down to Boone.   
Seems that both the body and the FJ are requiring more maintenance. 

Hope you all have an excellent time; sorry I'm going to miss it.

Maybe you will be better in time for the NE summer rally, little closer and hopefully as much fun as other rallies.

The carbs are indeed running well.     Nothing like working on them in the rain, at night, under a tarp (thanks again)... after that nothing was off limits.  I ended up missing a few Boone trips because the FJ was in various states of disassembly in the spring. 

Two years ago I finally made it back, but it was iffy: I was downsized one week before; it was a therapeutic rally.  Last year was our 20th wedding anniversary and we had a nice trip to New York in May.  This year the bike is fine, schedule is good... oh well.

I'll really miss seeing everyone.  I WILL make it to the NE rally.  Really.
