My clutch has been slipping a bit now and then. Opened things up and installed a second spring. So when doing this should I use the seat ring from the second spring??

Pretty sure you only need (or even want) the seat under the spring that rides on the pressure plate - you don't need (or want) a seat between the springs.

Richardo,

As Chris mentioned just one spring base.
