I just picked up a 1991 FJ1200. I used to ride my neighbor's FJ1200 back 30 years ago and I always wanted one.

I bought the identical bike, brand, spanking, new, 30 years ago. Bought another, 2 years older then my 91, 3 months past. I have been enjoying working on it, and riding a bit, now that it has warmed up.

Welcome to the site. These guys are the best, and it is a good idea to run things past them, they have seen a lot of it before. I put 50 miles on today, it was a blast.

Good luck, always, with your new to you bike.
