That's too funny - can't believe I watched the whole race!

Bandimere hasn't cancelled yet - but their first events aren't until mid April...

I've been watching these with my boys at bedtime.
They seem to enjoy them.........

Motorcycling does not get more intense than that.

No sirreee - this is the state of nascar now

https://www.engadget.com/2020-03-19-nascar-esports-racing-series-fox.html

Sad  :cray:

I watched a bit last week flicking through the channels - it was sad because the racing was actually better than real nascar.   :rofl2:  The crowds in the grandstands seem a lot bigger now.   :scratch_one-s_head:  But the kicker is the colour commentors (that's you Jeff Gordon) trying to pretend it's real.  Hell is ordering parkas now.

The marbles got this beat hands down.

...... PaulG, Your not to bright

Think about-it.

Nascar... where do you thing a lot of the Nascar drivers come from?  What type of racing??

let me give you a hint, they have FJ motors.

And take a wild guess, (on this website) who.. BUILDS .. those motors..... Take a guess!

Nascar>>> the most popular motor sport in America!! ............... and that's a fact.

So, stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

Oh dear  :cray: :cray: :cray:

Reading that was like following a lab rat in a maze.  Your false equivalencies are remarkable. I could go on at length,  but obviously I irritated your humourless bone.  G'Day

A quick search shows that to not be the case:

https://planetbell.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/sportschart1.png

That was 2014 and NASCAR has been in a steady decline even since then.

I'm a NASCAR fan and have you seen the stands lately?  That's all you see is the stands >>>> a bunch of empty seats.  Whatever their recipe in the past was, they are losing it.  This whole "playoff" thing is just a load of manufactured drama crap.  As soon as someone's favorite driver doesn't make the playoff or gets eliminated, they lose another chunk of their audience for the rest of the season.

Also, "you're" and "too"

Oh, and that was Auto Racing in general, not just NASCAR.  That means NASCAR, Indy, F1, Dirt Racing, etc.  All of which the American public seems to care nothing about.  One search showed "Professional Wrasslin" to be ahead of "Auto Racing," truly a sad state
