Welcome Greg, happy you could pull up a seat. With the age of our FJs, NOS or even good condition parts are getting harder to find. If you can use after market, you will have a better time finding parts. Many have done that just to get parts that work/perform better. If you need to stay OEM then stick with it. Even good condition barn finds still happen with complete bikes.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Locating OEM mirrors for the 1100 is as easy as finding Hens Teeth.  :dash2: :dash1:

A few FJ owners have gone with high end mirrors. The quality is 2nd to none and those that use them will not use anything else.

Rizoma Mirrors are the high bench mark for handle bar mounted mirrors.

I believe this model is similar to what a few members use.

$155 EACH????????  then you have to buy a separate adapter?

And I thought BMW shit was overpriced.

They are worth it. I loved my Rizoma's, until my brother cracked one
