Excellent!  Now someone with a little time on their hands should go through that list and eliminate all EXCEPT Cartridge forks.

Now I suppose the next question would be, what is the length of the forks? :scratch_one-s_head:

devilman

Also, the list includes USD forks. I guess the list was done based on fork seal diameter?

Pat Conlon

I understand why folks go for the YZF600 cartridge fork front end, but you still end up with the spindly 41mm stanchion tubes on a 500+lb motorcycle.

Loaded with gas, luggage and a passenger, what are you looking at... 750-800lbs? on 41mm tubes? (and we wonder why our front fender tabs break)

Go directly to the USD forks or....

.. if you still want a conventional cartridge fork go with the '97 YZF1000 Thunder Ace fork, that way at least you will get the beefier 48mm stanchion tubes along with a mechanical speedo drive to run our oem speedos.

There is a reason why Yamaha went to the 48mm stanchion tubes on the new FJR.

That list is a beautiful thing indeed. I'd love to have the time to do a complete list of forks like that for every bike......i need to win some serious money so i can stop working and devote the rest of my natural life to doing that. Then, after reincarnation i'll start on rear wheels........

Hey all,

Love this list of 41mm bar options. I have a set on my CB-1 but can't seem to find what they came from. I looked up a bunch of fiche for the ones on this list without luck. Does someone know off the top of their head? They seem unusual in that the bolt goes in from the front to clamp them to the forks. Thanks!

Why do you think that those bars are not stock on your CB-1? (They look stock to me)

Have you looked that the microfiche for the year bike you have?

Because I installed them. :) They aren't even close to stock.

Well all righty then, they look great! Nice job! Do you think they are aftermarket?

Thanks!

They are OEM from something, but not what the seller told me they were from. i've been all over the Internet without luck. I took a closer look at them earlier and I think that a tab may have been removed/ground off. A hint, perhaps.
