Could anybody tell me if the clutch cover/ oil filler cover from the xjr1300 will fit the fj1200 1tx ?

Yes, The XJR1200/XJR1300 clutch cover will work on ALL years of the FJ.

RPM sells new covers and markets the one cover for both the XJR and the FJ.
