It's a small world in FJ land.

I failed to act on a suggestion that I buy these and the top box from an owner in NSW last year who at the time was looking to sell his bike. A long story short, they ended up in Victoria with the new bike owner who didn't want them so he advertised them, I didn't have time to follow up, Doug (the General) from Queensland being the good sort he is took up the option so they wouldn't disappear from the group, he contacted me and gave me first dibs. A quick 400km round trip and here they are.

A bit of a clean up, some automotive vinyl wrap (the RH one) and they're good to go. The best part is the rack is the original FJ specific one and fits beautifully. I believe the rack will accept current new panniers if I feel the urge to spend up.

Thanks Doug, thanks Mark, thanks Tony, thanks Pete, they live on!

I have probably rested my wine on these some years prior in Barmagui when they were fitted to Tony's bike, it's a small world.

If they're the Krauser Star panniers, they're great ! I had a set on my 1TX and loved them. When I sold that bike, the buyer (my boss) wanted the panniers as well, so I got the new K2's for my 3CV.
