clutch push rod

Hi just got a fj and clutch seals where shot .so when i was doing them noticed the clutch push rod looks broken about 3 inch from the slave cylinder end is this normal. If it isnt how do i check if the ball bearing is in  there Thanks

Broken in two, or cracked? The ball is most likely still there. Even when the engine is started with the clutch slave removed, and the pushrod is shot out (spearing the cat) the ball tends to say in.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Been in and had a look clutch basket only had three bolts  all others thread stripped this bike has been butchered .new clutch rod and mushroom end clutch seams to work with a new basket. :Facepalm:
