Long term rebuild

Well, I finally figured out how to wrench and ride at the same time. Got me a 2017 V-Strome 650 so that I can do some proper work on the '93 FJ.  While putting it away last year winter the clutch seal failed. And it needs new rotors, tires, fork rebuild, wiring cleanup... and whatever else I can think of.  I'm the original owner; haven't ridden another bike since the FJ was delivered on the Ides of March, 1996.  The DL650 is very different.  Light, nimble, and with well tuned for real world riding. The FJ will probably be my group ride bike. A nice old customized bike to show off.

First step is strip the FJ. Next step is to putter in the garage over the next few years getting it back into shape. I like not having to think about getting the FJ back on the road; I'd rather take my time and enjoy the wrenching. After 24 years the FJ deserves some down time
