Is the wiring harness on fj1100 and fj1200 interchangable?

Hi!

I recently purchased a 86' FJ1100, european model.
After inspection, the former owner have made a real mess of the original wiring harness.
I am now looking for used wiring harness, and I'm wondering if the wiring harness for fj1100 and fj1200 are interchangable?
I havent had much luck finding wiring harness for a 86 fj1100, but I find several wiring harnesses for fj1200.

My bike is stripped down, and custom built to a streetfighter-look, so I dont have the original dash, headlight, and blinkers.

Welcome. Just for clarification the FJ has 4 generations. The 1st GEN is '84/'85, 2nd GEN '86/'87, 3rd GEN '89/'90 and 4th GEN '91+. Outside the USA there are a few exceptions. The '86/'87 was sold as an '88 and I think the '89 was also sold as an '88. The part numbers for the wiring harness is different between the 1st and 2nd generations. Others with more specific knowledge will have to set up and answer your question.

As far as I know (correct me if I'm wrong) 1986 only offered a FJ1200.
FJ1100 was only offered in 1984-1985.
If you are searching for a wire harness for a 1986, you are only going to find FJ1200 harnesses.
You might have a leftover 1985 model that was sold in 1986?

My VIN-number indicates that it's from 1984-1985
