I had thought I'd fixed this problem but after bike has been sitting for a couple of months again I went to start it and it started after full choke(it had been starting with little choke to none when ridden each weekend) but was a bit rough so I suspected #4 again and each header was hot to the back of the fingers but #4 I was able to grab and hold. Plug was wet and once dried out was Good to go but why does it get like this once its been sitting for awhile.
And yes I know 1 answer to fix it, RIDE it every weekend or more
Any suggestions?
I know is was running a bit rich

Not sure why it's only happening to #4, but you could try swapping the 1 and 4 plug wires and see if it follows the wire.  Might have a weak spark due to a compromised wire or cap?

Otherwise I'd suspect a carb issue with #4

That's the beauty of a wasted spark ignition, you can easily rule in or out a plug wire/cap problem.

Dried plug and all is good, checked spark , ok. Problem is now that I've dried it I don't have a fault which makes it hard to find the problem
It seems to be if it sits around usually on centre stand for a couple of months #4 gets so wet trying to start it doesn't fire.
Just have to get out more.
I did swap them, they reached just but all is good
