Hello All,
I just acquired a 1984 FJ1100 on a trade for my MZ Skorpion Traveller. A friend of mine older brother bought it new in August of 84' and my friend bought it from him in the 90's. We both had our bikes for sale the last year and neither of us had any luck at selling for we were asking so we traded. The FJ had been sitting for the last 4 years so it needed a battery and the fuel tank pulled and dumped. The bike has 38k miles on it and for the most part bone stock other than the stainless brake/clutch lines and the Lockhart side panels. I got it running but will still need to pull the carbs apart for some cleaning and all the other maintenance stuff needed for a 33 year old bike, but I did get a 60 mile ride in this morning so I'm happy.

Wow! Another good looking '84. I really like the red/silver combo.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

:hi: Welcome to the forum. Great looking FJ.

What part of the world are you from. Look at and maybe pin yourself on the Zee maps page. You can also see if there are other FJ owners near you.

I'm not the fastest FJ rider, I am 'half-fast', the fastest slow guy....

I'd guess WA as title says.
This seems to me, that there are a lot of garages with beautiful FJs stored in all around US.

Anyway welcome and I hope you have those two small fairing protectors.
Here in EU, they started to make them from unobtainium, such as more and more FJ parts.  :dash2:

Thanks for the welcome. I do not know if lots of them are around but I have known the owner and his brother for 40 years which ended up being a big bonus for me :yahoo:  I only have 1 of the 4 fairing protectors and was a little surprised on the price of them. But I'm sure I will find some.

The protectors don't really protect much in the event of contact with the ground. A little time with some ABS, a sander and a little paint, you can have a full set.
