Spare parts

I was going threw the box of parts the previous owner gave me and this part has me curious,

It is a sound damper - goes on the cylinder head fins I think (hidden behind the lower edge of the fairing)

For manufacturers, sound limits are sound limits - doesn't matter if the noise picked up is exhaust or engine noise.  Make the engine a little quieter and you can make the exhaust a little louder and more free flowing. 

I'd keep the part as a conversation piece maybe...
