Hi all,

I'm new to the whole forum world, but am under the impression that an introductory post is standard practice so here it is. I have been riding my 1989 FJ1200 for about a year now and its a great bike. I've ridden cruisers in the past, but made the switch to the FJ and am glad I did. Currently residing in Michigan so I don't get to enjoy riding year round. Hoping this forum will be a good place to go for questions and concerns.

Thanks!

Welcome, Jazzy. The members here are a wealth of knowledge and most of the time friendly. An introduction is a great 1st post. Many here consider this forum to be our digital campfire. So get settled in, listen as we tell lies about how fast we were, what oil and tires are best. Browse the topics and or use the search function, you will see that nearly every question or issue has been asked and answered. Lots of stuff in the files section as well. And if interested you can pin yourself on the FJ Zeemap and or look to see other pins in your part of the world. https://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=724879#. And get your self to a rally and meet other like minded FJowners in person. Attending your first rally is like making the first modification to your FJ, very addictive. For your first assignment look up "Kookaloo" and "Moditus".

Cheers.
