Hi

I'm in Southern Ontario, Canada.
I don't have an FJ, nor have I ever owned one.
Back around 84 I test rode an 1100, first sporting bike I ever rode, made a big impression.

The other day I picked up a copy of Motorcycle Classics magazine, and in there was a really nice, and nicely modified 1100.
A really nice machine he'd dubbed FJ1400, good article if you haven't seen it.

Anyway its got me thinking about one again.
Maybe get rid of the BMW, and get a clean FJ...

We'll see .

There's quite a few of us in Ontario from London to Niagara to GTA and eastwards and North.  Now's a good time to buy.  There are over a dozen 1100s/1200s listed on kijiji/Craig's list alone.  Check out the location map .

Let us know where you are generally (if you like). Riding anything now? Or in the past?

The bike in the article belongs to Father Pat. Conlon that is . He is a wealth of knowledge and has a really shiny bike. Also is one of the senior members on this forum. Big R

Don't forget to make mention about Pat's hair...

Sorry no cure for that here.  But there are plenty of enablers.  :good2:

Keep an eye out for spring bike clinic coming up soon hosted by a fellow member.  Also we have an annual late summer weekend camp & ride that we try to scrape together out on the barrens of the eastern highlands North of Kingston.

Lots of fun for everyone. A sample
