Just putting my  "FJ  Hwy Foot Peg  Mod" out to everyone in FJ Land ,,After riding for about 60 miles my Legs need to be moved around a bit ,so I was just hanging them off the Foot Pegs for about a 1/4 mile and then I was  right for another while longer ,but this was quit dangerous ,So on with the thinking cap,
''''''''''''' PROBLEM SOLVED'''''''''''''''''',,
I was looking at making something up so

1---I could Mount a set of Front Hwy Foot Pegs
2---Also protect the engine side covers and Plastics
3---Also a Mounting point for Driving Lights

I found these 1999 to 2002 XJR1300 Rear Exhaust Hangers on the net for $30 pair (inc freight),
So I made up a small steel bracket with a step in it (2 pcs flat plate 1pc steel tube) welded together and then just bolted it on using existing  top engine mount bolt.
The only thing I had to do with the Hanger itself ,was to drill the counter sink at the top a bit rounder so my socket would fit on the bolt to do it up,
It's unreal the difference these Pegs have made   ,Its like sitting in a very fast lounge chair ,The Pegs flick up and down real easy using your foot while doing 60 mph plus ,
You do not have to look down for them ,just move your foot forward and you can easy push them open or closed,
I have 3  x FJ1200 Bikes  a  ,94 ,92 and a (87  that I am rebuilding at this time),I have done all the Wheel and Brake mod's on the 3 Bikes ,and have these HWY Pegs fitted to the 94 and 92
When I get my FJ1200  1987 bike going ,it to will also get a set of these pegs,
I have attached a few Photos ,,RIDE SAFE ,,Cheers Phil from AU
