Just one of many issues upon which Obama's version of the EPA has claimed this sort of stance, then had him take Executive Action when it found that public opinion to be overwhelmingly against EPA proposals.

Some folks care about inconsistencies in the evidence others just go with the leader. It is not a matter of education, though those who disdain learning are easily led.
