Came across this on a bend today at highway speed.

The mound in the middle was 3 - 4 inches deep and the clean track in the centre of the lane I was travelling in (nearest to the centre on the side closest to the camera) was only about 2ft wide, not much at speed!

I had no time to do anything but be thankful the line I had set up before I saw it took me through the clean section and immediately after be grateful some cars had passed since the truck dumped on the road.

This takes "a bit gravel on the corner" to a new level.

Oooooooh......Makes my ribs ache....

Was that was just spillage from a truck and not part of a road project?

Glad you got through that unscathed. Coming up to that unexpectedly is a sure pucker moment, enough to pit a crease in the seat vinyl.
