Being an electrician I can see several things wrong with that breaker panel but the main thing is I don't see a CDI anywhere inside that thing.

Hath, if you download an Owners Handbook for your particular model FJ, (it's free) there is a color coded wiring diagram in the back of all handbooks that will show you what you need...
Lots of good info in the Owners Handbooks....see the link in my sig line.

Appreciated pat, someone's been into the wiring and changed wires left right and centre  trying to get a grip on it wothout blowing another cdi unit up.

The Haynes manual does a pretty good job with their wiring diagrams. I have not found a case where the colors do not match up....at least for my 3cv's.

In cas the colors did not come through well in the photo.the wire colors are as follows. Starting at the top

Orange
Grey

Black w/white stripe

Red w/white stripe
