I guess if Prop 64 passes Nov 8th in California we can dispense with the Central, ECR and WCR. Just have one National FJ rally in CA.      Dave

I am sure that the proposition will pass with a stupidly high yes vote.  :scratch_one-s_head:

I'm doubling my investment in the Quaker Oats Co.

For those that have some discretionary income.....here are a few other investment ideas for the California based franchises and general snack foods

Dave, you do know it is already legal in Colorado...right?

I didn't know that. Had made tentative plans with my sister to take care of my Dad so I could get to Oury but she backed out and I couldn't attend. Since I have to pee in a cup for almost every place I work (DFW airport, FW mint, school districts, military installations etc) I spend several days a year getting drug tested. Maybe if I get older and sick I will be able to try it.

While in Ouray Colorado, I wondered about the pot smokers. None to be seen or smelt.
At the Central Rally, Thursday evening Paul, Jason and I walked along the river into town for a dip in the hot springs then to follow, a free concert at the park.
Very good musicians, good vibe, clean active healthy young folks and young families, anyhoo....
I had completely forgot about Colorado legalizing recreational marijuana until the emcee announced at the beginning of the concert, "Just a reminder folks, per Colorado law, absolutely no smoking pot in public is allowed or will be tolerated. If you do, we will catch you, you will be Arrested and your fines will be very costly".

I really liked the town of Ouray Colorado.

aaaaah yes, the Alice B Toklas brownies.... a bit harder to detect in a public setting.

There were about a half dozen vendors selling their Micro Brews, but again, per Colorado law, no cannabis vendors. I imagine it's just a matter of time.

"...absolutely no smoking pot..."

Hence the "edible"

http://www.leafscience.com/2015/10/27/beginners-guide-marijuana-edibles/

I have it on good authority that edibles aren't a cost-effective method of consumption.

(translation: I talked to my son last night. He lives in Denver. It just happened to come up in conversation.)

Plus, you lose the whole communal essence of sharing weed. Passin' a magic brownie just isn't the same.
