Just thought that I'd mention that the forks that you bought from Fred got new OEM bushings and seals about 6,000 miles ago. You should be good to go from that perspective.

Nice to meet ya. I'm happy to hear that I got the forks from another fellow FJ owner on here! I am pleased to hear that you installed oem parts   and not aftermarket stuff. Do you happen to remember what weight of oil you used? If not it is not a big deal. Thanks for the reply!

Jamie,
I used Dextron 3 in the forks. I have heard that the equivalent viscosity is somewhere between 7.5 and 10. But I'm thinking that could be an old wives tale, too.
