Had new Pirelli Angel GT installed on the front of my bike.  Now I have a matching set.  I was running the ST's, but had the GT installed on the rear when they started that line.  I really like these tire, they role over into the corners very smoothly and have great all around grip, and they wear nice as well  :good:

I made the change over to the YZF six pot calipers.  I like they way the feel.  They come on smooth and have plenty of stopping power.  Although, I did lose some distance in my lever pull.  I adjusted lever, but have very little adjustment left.  It seems I am in need of some new brake lines.  I do have the YZF Reservoirs for the brakes and clutch, but I seem to have misplaced my front brake lever.  Oh well, another day I guess.

I know I am not the first to make this modification.  Just thought I would share and remind everyone how it looks.   :good2:

I had a 93 yzf 750r one of 2 in the US.( Know this because a guy parked his BMW behind me at work. And when he pushed it off the center stand. He knocked mine off the kickstand. His insurance had to get the parts from Canada. And while checking if I owned it legally. They found only one other registered in California) The brakes on it where almost too much for the street. Had to be very careful @ slow speeds. Sold it shortly after.   That reminds me I think I have the new replacement front rim in storage somewhere. Had a really small scratch in the original so I left it on. Can't remember if I gave it to the guy that bought the bike. I'll have to check

So far, with this bike, I like the six pots.  The are progressive with nice feel.  They do come on strong at the end and you certainly want to be paying attention to road condition.

I have the complete YZF750 front set up off an 97.  I have everything from the handle bars to the wheel, I am only lacking the axle.  I had intended to put it on my FJ.  Just have not made time to do the modification.
