half ring bearing retainer

do somebody know, half-ring bearing retainer from transmission shafts, it is just one piece ?
or must be two?
I have just one, and it is strange....
maybe I lost one?

It is just a half bearing retainer and there is only one. That is how they are assembled from the factory.
