Today I started my 70th lap of the Sun.   Beginning with a Puch Mo-Ped in 1959 there have been a lot of motorcycles along the way and I can say without hesitation that the FJ1200 is the finest of the lot. Every time I swing a leg over mine I'm reminded of the very special place that a good motorcycle can put its rider.

It is a jewel of a machine.

not that that is any news to any of you fellas.

A great sentiment well put, one most here would agree with and such enthusiasm at your age  a great testament to the enduring motorcycling spirit.

Good to hear from you Burns, have a good one.

thanks to all for your warm words, FJer's. I've heard it said "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy" but for my mental health I'll take a motorcycle underneath of me every time.

Today I started my 70th lap of the Sun.

Earth travels 940 million kilometers (584 million miles) around the sun... x 70 = 65,800,000,000 km or 40,880,000,000 mi.  Wow!  That's a lot of trime in the saddle!

Oh.... wait a sec... I get it...
