Rear Brake paddle replacement

Hey there,
I am having a problem with the rear brake paddle after placing a Vance & Hanse exhaust pipe. The paddle "elbow" touches the pipe restricting the motion range. If I change the orientation, the paddle is too high for use.
ANy ideas for another bike's replacement paddle that would have a less elbow and allow me to mount it lower?

If you have the SS2r pipe. make sure that the tangs for the springs are lined up. That should give your brake pedal clearance. I don't know if the Super Sport version has the same.

Yep, I have the same problem with the Kerker pipe on my '92. Installing the pedal with clearance to the midpipe results in the  pedal is being too high.

The fix is to chop a pie section out of the pedal arm, on the lower edge of the arm, then bending the pedal arm (down) to close the cut and welding the cut.
That will lower the pedal and still keep clearance to the midpipe.

I have not done this yet....I am waiting for the RPM pipe to see how that works....Besides..I am tired of r/r the Kerker to change the oil.
