Hello All, Just picked up a 90' FJ1200 today here in Modesto, CA.  Guy had it on CL and I got it for a pretty good price. I had an 84' a few years ago and mistakingly got rid of it, so I got the bug again.  Hard to find these bikes in these parts and although this one needs a little TLC, I'm looking forward to the challenge of makin' her into a respectable ride again.

I've also recently returned the world of the Mighty FJ. This forum has helped me solve all the little head scratching problems we come up against.

Check out the files section for the most common things.

Any question is good. I'm really mechanically handicapped, but get all my low brow questions answered without grief.

Welcome Jim. Be sure to check out Randy at RPM in Oakdale :). He is a member here and a great help to all of us. I mention that because you bought the bike in the Modesto area so you might be close.  Be sure to spend some time in the files section and the gallery.

Welcome Jim, just in time for our West Coast Rally in Willits first week of June. Being near Randy's shop is s plus.
