After watching the news for a couple of days, I hope all of our Texas brethren are high & dry. I also see there other southern sates are in for more today as well.

Hasn't rained in Dallas for a full day and I was out on the bike. Unfortunately parts south and east of here are getting most of it. Houston and southeast Texas are low and flat and don't drain rapidly so flooding occurs. Watching several water rescues on the news shows how people do not know the power of water. Being a Navy trained diver and member of a scuba rescue and recovery group for several years we were in water like that. Even 4 inches of swiftly flowing water can knock you off your feet. People don't realize how easy cars float or can be easily pushed by the power of water. Many people die thinking they can drive through it. Don't do it.  Dave
A pistol is like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you will never need one again.
