There isn't really any space to get a hammer in and tap it in the right direction/place.

Could you send some pics of the bolt you removed and the situation?

Yes, but not sure what you want to see?

There is only one bolt holding the swingarm and it has been removed (I can see through the hole where it used to be  ).

It is odd you are having such a challenge to get the arm out....thought maybe a pic might show what the issue is.

Other than that, it would just be a picture of the swingarm sitting in the frame.

Try pushing the swing arm towards the front of the bike, then up , then pull it back out. ...
For some reason i remember having to do that.

I just had mine out 2 weeks ago.  What Paul said.  It's a tight fit so prying it with a tool or tapping it forward with a dead blow hammer may help.  As I remember, I was sitting behind the bike, using my steel toed boot to pry forward and up.  Cursing seemed to help.  Good luck.

SUCCESS!!  :yahoo:

Several of you were on the right track.

A few light taps up and forward on the pivot point and it simply fell out. Looking at it, there is no way you can pull it straight out!

What would one do without this fantastic forum  :good2:

Thank you all!

(BTW, what are those stanchion pics doing in this thread...  :scratch_one-s_head: )
