The OE service manual says to add yamabond to two of the bolts that holds the clutch slave cylinder.

Anyone who knows the purpose of this? It is just bolts that screws into the casing...

Maybe to keep chain-lube gunk from seeping out through the threads?
I'm not sure if the threads go all the way through the sprocket cover?

No, that wouldn't be the reason.

Those two bolts go into the casing. The third one (that doesn't require sealant) goes into the sprocket cover.

Randy might be able to answer this one?

I have never put any sealer on my slave cylinder bolts, and I've never had an oil leak there?
