Has anyone used the Sidi Canyon boot with the stock shifters?

Greetings folk,

I am contemplating purchasing the Sidi Canyon boot.  While not as beefy as the Oxtar Infinities I know the Canyons are not a small boot, but I want the added protection.  Has anyone used this boot on an early model FJ, and if so did it give you trouble shifting?  I wear a size 45 so while not being Sasquatch I don't have itty bitty feet.  Cheers in advance for your help!

If it's any help, I wear the Infinities, size 47 (U.S size 13, Aus/UK 12) and have had no problems with shifting on any bike I've ridden including an'86 FJ.
Don't know about the Sidi's.

Thanks for the reply.  I should be ok then, as the Infinities are definitely a bulkier boot vs the Canyon.  Plus, if you don't have an issue with a larger foot (I'm a 44 in Oxtars) then I should be fine.

                                    Cheers,

I got the Infinities from NEWENOUGH, they ae rebranded now, TCX instead of OXTAR.
Same boots.
Gotta say, they are really comfortable, I've often worn them on 12 hour plus plane trips.(Saves luggage space)
I would buy another pair.

Yeah, I saw that.  I think TCX makes BMW's boots.  They make a nice boot, and I think I'm going to pick up their Air-Tech XCR boots (with the high breathability version of the gore laminate) for the summer.  But I really like the Canyons for Fall/winter/Spring/extended tour duty.
