Tube Key Ignition Switch - Replaced Wires Protective Sleeving

Almost to the day from five years ago, and on my first order from RPM, I bought a tube key ignition switch, among other needed items.

I love the switch. After a couple or few years, I noticed that the sleeving that protects its wires from chafing, had fractured in a number of places, and was a problem waiting to happen. True to my procrastinative nature, I put off doing anything about it. Until today.

Not sure if my switch's sleeving problem is an isolated case, or has been addressed since I bought mine five years ago, but if you have one, you may want to inspect it.

I put my notes in a review of the switch on RPM's website.

Switch with fractured sleeving.

What's this?

Oh, now I see. A piece of shrink wrap will take care of that.

Finished. One less worry on the next ride.

Can you please send those photos to me via email?

I would like to send them to the supplier and advise them.

Just confirming there was no other issue with the switch, just the sleeve degradation.

Thanks, Randy - RPM
