Quick question, does anybody know the thread size/pitch of the bar-ends?  I need to purchase a tap but don't have them with me to measure.

You might want to double check, but I just measured mine with a pair of calipers and I got 16 x 1.25 mm.

The Yamaha bar end weights I have on my work bench are 16mm x 1.5 pitch

Yep, I just rechecked mine. I stand corrected. 1.5mm pitch. I'm going to blame the iffy battery in my digital calipers for that one.
