FJZ1 1200 - It'll do me just fine.
Timing has much to do with the success of a rain dance.

Hey HOOdz,

Welcome!  I lived and worked in Wellington for a spell a few years back (go Hurricanes! go Lions!) and the only things that keeps me from losing my mind back here is Setanta Sports and being able to buy Fat Freddy's Drop albums.  Oh, and riding my bike! (once I get out to the curvy bits, that is)  Look forward to chatting with you soon!

                                             Cheers,

                                                   Dennis

Cheers Harvey...it's an awesome place to live and ride, only down side is that it only takes a couple of weeks to ride around both islands, having said that there are so many beautiful places you never get bored.

I have an elderly parent who is back here, and the flights from NZ back to the East Coast every other week were getting to be a drag.  Trust me, I would still be there if I could pull it off.   Upsides are that I met my wife since I've been back, and I have a gabillion frequent flier miles from 2+ years of that flight schedule.  But yeah, I miss Welly every single day.  And I'll take the ANZ Cup or a Super 14 final over a Super Bowl any day!

Ned

Hey kia ora - just got your PM 'cos I was away with Mrs Ned down in Papamoa staying with our daughter and her hubby. (In the tintop not on the bike as I had to lug a pile of tools down to do some house maintenance there) Good to see another kiwi here. There have been one or two over the years but they all seem to disappear. I'm in Auckland - most of the time. Much rather be somewhere like Matauri Bay though. I can't personally see the big attraction for Wellington!!! We may receive a visit from Klavdy of the Gold Coast if he goes ahead with a plan to do some touring here. He was over for a quick flick around the North of the North Island late last year and was suitably impressed.
Haven't had my FJ out much lately due to broken legs, work and overseas travel.

Ka kite
