Switch housing

Hi guys.

The switch housing of my FJ1100 is pretty worn out and I basically want to replace it.
Can I use switch housing from aa different, newer bike?

A bonus would be to have a large indicator light switch on each side of the bike like on harleys. I find it hard to fiddle with the tiny switch when wearing gloves...
