Oil Filter Washer?

Good Morning,

So, a simple oil change turned in to an all day event.  All because the washer that sits on top of the oil filter spring was missing.  No big deal right?  PO was obviously running this way.  But, being a little stubborn I decided to fab one to fit.  

Does any one have the dimensions of this washer?  I figured out the I.D. by measuring the bypass valve (20 mm) and the O.D. by measuring the rubber center on the filter itself (~26 mm).  Yamaha's part number 90201-21608-00 - washer, plate.

But I'm stuck on the thickness.  I've found a washer with I.D. that'll work & that I can turn the O.D. down on; but curious as to how thick the original was.

I'm SURE that someone who converted over to the trick RPM Spin-On Filter Adapter has an original, now laying around unused.

...just SURE of it!

The washer in question looks to be about 1mm in thickness. I would know FOR SURE, but the battery in my electronic caliper is dead!

It's not critical, but the original is fairly thin from memory.

Well, I'm having a Helluva time getting this "reply"  to function, so I'll try 1 last time.

I lost my washer a long time ago.  This for a 1984  USA FJ1100.  My maintenance log sez that the steel  replacement that I made on my lathe measured .038" thick,  1.263" OD, and  .812" ID.  The replacement has worked fine for a long time now.

This.  If I recall, the only purpose of that washer was to protect the rubber surface of the gasket on the 'OEM' type filters from being damaged by the spring while under compression when installed.
