Strange squeaky noise on an 85

Whenever I think I've put all the little things on her, to look perfect like it just left the factory,  something comes to bother me.

This is what happens: while I ride and open the throttle or maintain constant speed-nothing. But then when I release the throttle to slow down with my engine some squeaky sound appears. Location - well if I knew it I wouldn't ask here for ideas. But it seems like it's coming right below me or a little bit up front. But it is tricky to say it exactly because it happens only during riding and I can't pinpoint the location. It doesn't squeak constantly, it's a rather intermittent phenomenon. sounding like you squeeze air through narrow opening. I thought the exhaust downpipes got loose so it squeaks exhasut fumes and tightened the nuts - still going. Chain slack is OK, I thought it's maybe loose so it skids the swing arm. BUT MAYBE, could it be the chain squeaking on that rubber guard on swing arm?
I tried a lot of things. Wheels are good, front fork is good, side and center stands not loose, exhaust not loose, everything in place. Bike still rides like crazy.
I even put the bike on a center stand, 5th gear, a bit of throttle and sharp release of the throttle, like I'm riding, but nothing. It only happens while I'm on the bike and only when decelerating.
Anyone had similar problem or any ideas?

I think it's nothing big, but still it bothers me. Maybe that little exhaust gasket in the head, copper ring, is gone?

Drop some oil down the speedo and tach cable holes did it to mine and weird ass squeaking went away.

A common FJ problem is a gas tank that refuses to  "vent" properly.  Pressure or vacuum can build up.  Chirp, squeek, whatever....then occurs.  Go ridin' with the gas cap not totally latched shut.  If it doesn't chirp anymore, you've found the problem.

Solved it. You won't believe it when I tell you. Stupid back case was rocking on a monorack and made the noise. I rode now without it and everything perfect.  :dash1:
