Hello guys

I've got another problem.

If I try to pull away on a uphill at a stop, and blip the throttle just before take off, my 1100 does not have any power. It seems like the carbs are flooded for a 2 to 5 seconds timespan, and only then starts to really go.  What is the problem here?

Are they stock carbs?  Have they been "improved" with a jet kit, or molested by someone who believes that bigger is always better?
Are the diaphrams in good condition?
Has the ignition pick-up plate been modified to change the timing?

That should give you a place or two to check :-)

Sounds like you're flooding on the low end....Clean your carbs, replace your float needle seat o rings, check the fuel level in the carb bowls, set your float heights, adjust your air/fuel idle screws.
