Can anyone point me towards a brand of unlined waterproof over pants that have a LONG leg closure, half way up the leg sort of thing. I have seen them in magazine reviews but can't find any on the net that specifically mention this feature. They all just mention velcro, zip, whatever closure, no reference to the length of it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked out Fogg Toggs? I have a set of Road Toadz (by Frogg Toggs) and the work great. The pant zipper zips up to about mid thigh.

Doug, not quite sure how to tell you this without offending you. I appreciate you going to the trouble of hunting something out for me and all, but....eeerrrrr.....ummmm, I think I like Zwarties recommendation better.

Zwartie, thanks for the link, they appear to be just what I was after, I just need to confirm the zip length with them. They look like a good quality item.

Thanks again.

Arnie, I'm going to Aldi's anyway in the morning, I will definitely check them out while I'm there. I'm not going to look at bike gear but a rolling tool chest and I'm nearly out of coffee beans.

Thanks for the nod.

But Why?

Doug, have you ever tried pulling them on over boots on the side of the road?

I have a Frogg Toggs rain jacket that I bought in the states for $25 when I was last there.
Its a strange material, that looks and feels kinda like woven paper, but it works well.
I bought this large enough that I can wear it over my normal bike jacket.

You're welcome to stop by and have a look if you like.

Noel, I know you are always aware, correct, and observant, but the Aldi's M/C gear won't be on sale until NEXT Saturday 8-8-15
