Screwdriver to pry out?

Seal puller?

Something else/some other way?

Mine came out with a small screwdriver.  Harbor Freight has some small picks that might work well also. They are in a kit with a straight and some bent ones. Couple of bucks.  More in gas to go them than they cost. :).  They should come out easy Steve.

Small flat blade screwdriver, quite an easy job....

If you have one, cotter pin pullers come in handy for a variety of things like helping remove those exhaust seals.

Thank you for the replies.

I'm getting the engine from my original `90 FJ ready for re-installation. Didn't want to damage the head somehow by doing something wrong.
