Why I am looking for a new airbox

I finally yanked it and surveyed the damage from last year's fire.

The box is cooked.

Other damage  is the drain/vent tubes and the crankcase vent hose.

#4 carb slide is stuck. Not sure if that's actual fire damage or the extinguisher powder.

Electrics seem to be pretty undamaged. The bike cranks over fine.

I have seen a couple of really nice FJs for sale and I'd really like to get a new one. I'm thinking of selling this one as project material to put the money toward a new one.  What do you guys think it might be worth? And would having it run and drive be a major factor in price? I replaced the clutch line already, so with a new box and carb clean I think it will be a runner.

Popped the lid on the carb with the stuck slide.

Thought I was going to find a melted diaphragm. Nope. Looks like it's just the fire suppressant powder making everything stuck. A good cleaning oughta take care of it.
